Market context
BNB spent the week grinding sideways under $780 while the majors posted modest gains. The token last printed $775. 49 per Blockchain.
News data cited Sunday morning, a level that has served as an intraday magnet since Wednesday. The broader market backdrop is cautiously bullish rather than expansive. Bitcoin and ether firmed but neither broke a meaningful level, and the memecoin churn that dominated volume earlier this month has cooled.
That leaves BNB priced for good news it hasn't fully received yet. The Kalshi listing and the Lorentz fork are both real. Neither has moved spot in a way that says institutional bid is stepping in size.
Technical setup
The chart is doing something specific and unhelpful for bulls. Price is capped by a dense resistance cluster in the $780 to $790 zone, with the MACD histogram flattened almost to zero. That's not distribution.
It's not accumulation either. It's stall. Blockchain.
News flagged the same read on Saturday, calling for a $763 shakeout before any credible push toward $805. Support sits at $763, then $748. A daily close below $748 breaks the setup that has held since the last leg up.
On the upside, $790 is the first real test. Clear it on volume and $805 opens up. Fail there twice and the roll to $763 becomes the higher-probability path the sell-side flow is already telegraphing.
