Top movers
The CryptoBeast composite, which weights sentiment at 35%, news volume at 25%, market trend at 25% and on-chain at 15%, has a tight top of the table. SOL and XRP are tied at 69. BTC and DOGE and SHIB sit at 68. ETH is at 67, BNB and NEAR at 65, LINK and TON at 64.
XRP led majors over the day, breaking above a bearish trendline at $1.4580 on the hourly and tagging $1.5496 before consolidating above $1.480, per NewsBTC's read on Kraken. A close above $1.520 opens $1.5350 and $1.550; loss of $1.4640 turns the structure back over toward $1.4350. Bitcoinist also flagged a meaningful shift in the XRP price-CVD correlation on Binance, which historically precedes directional moves rather than ranges.
The asymmetric mover, though, sits outside the top of the composite. Zcash is up roughly 1,200% year to date, per a NewsBTC report citing market expert Alex Carchidi, and briefly overtook Cardano by market cap on May 10 to become the 11th-largest token. Carchidi pointed to Multicoin Capital disclosing a position build since February, and Cypherpunk Technologies adding roughly 295,000 ZEC, about 1.7% of circulating supply. Shielded addresses now hold about 30% of ZEC supply, nearly quadrupling over two years.
ZEC traded near $545 at the time of the NewsBTC piece, up another 63% in a fortnight. ADA, by contrast, was at $0.27, up 9% in the same window. Two privacy-versus-smart-contract narratives, two very different flow pictures.
The headline looks bullish across the board. The composite says otherwise. Market average across 57 tokens is 47.5 - neutral. Outside the top eight names, scoring collapses to 41 (bearish) for AVAX, DOT, HBAR, MATIC, FET, RNDR, AGIX, SUI, SEI, TIA, PEPE, BONK, FLOKI, WIF and the rest of the long tail. ICP is the outlier at 23, strong bearish.
That's the contrast paragraph. Breadth is narrow. The bid is concentrated in fewer than ten names.
